Healing Facilitation: Chakra-Based Energy Work

My healing work is focused on empowering you to participate in your own healing—and offering support for greater balance, alignment, and well-being. These sessions are grounded in a whole-person understanding that the physical, emotional, psychological, energetic, and spiritual dimensions of experience are interconnected. By tending to these dimensions together, we can support both immediate concerns and longer-standing patterns in thoughtful and meaningful ways.

I use the chakra system as a conceptual and spiritual framework for energy work. Within chakra-based traditions, chakras are understood as centers of life force energy associated with particular areas of the body and with emotional, psychological, and spiritual themes. The chakra system offers a way to explore how different dimensions of experience may be connected.

Within this framework, life experiences, trauma, stress, and deeply held beliefs may be reflected in patterns of energetic depletion, congestion, or imbalance. By clearing, balancing, and attuning the chakra system, we create space for greater awareness, clarity, and alignment.

What to Expect in a Healing Facilitation Session

I use a combination of Sound and Vibration Therapy, Stone Medicine, and Reiki in every restorative energy session. Together, these modalities support deep rest and relaxation, allowing the mind and body to settle and creating space for restoration, awareness, and energetic balance.

These sessions are:

  • Deeply relaxing and rejuvenating
    Clothing-on, low-contact, and fully supportive

  • Supportive of the whole person
Bringing attention to subtle patterns, imbalances, and areas that may need care

  • Designed to support energetic balance
Helping release emotional tension and encouraging spiritual growth

  • Rooted in sound, vibration, and energetic traditions
Bringing together crystal, sound, and Reiki in an integrated experience for the body, mind, spirit, and energy system

Whether in person or virtual, this work is sacred, intuitive, and designed to support your highest good.

Sound & Vibration Therapy

If you’ve ever explored cymatics, you’ve seen how sound can organize physical matter into stunning, symmetrical patterns. There is growing evidence that therapeutic sound works the same way within living organisms, influencing the vibration and physical structure of the body down to the cellular and molecular level.

Sound and vibration can be experienced throughout the body. Within sound-healing traditions, this immersive experience is understood to support greater balance and alignment across physical, mental, emotional, and energetic dimensions.

Stress is woven into the fabric of modern life, contributing to, and often underlying, many physical and emotional imbalances. If we can reduce stress, we can begin to feel better. At its most fundamental level, sound therapy supports you by reducing stress and calming the nervous system.

Research on singing-bowl and vibroacoustic interventions suggests potential benefits for stress reduction, anxiety, relaxation, and psychological well-being. Some studies have also observed changes in heart rate, blood pressure, heart-rate variability, and self-reported pain, although further high-quality research is needed.

Benefits of Sound and Vibration Therapy:

  • Significantly reduces stress and anxiety

  • Improves circulation and reduces blood pressure

  • Encourages deep relaxation and may temporarily reduce the perception of pain or discomfort for some peopleIncreases mental and emotional clarity

  • Promotes stillness, mindfulness, and well-being

How Sound Therapy Works on Multiple Levels:

~ Aesthetic & Sensory: The sound itself is beautiful and calming. As you focus on the tones and harmonics, your thoughts begin to slow, drawing your attention inward and into the present moment.

~ Brainwave Entrainment: As your brain follows the rhythm of the sound, it slows into the alpha state, the resting state associated with inner calm and mind-body connection. In this relaxed state, the body can begin to repair itself.

~ Deep States of Consciousness: As relaxation deepens, brainwaves move into theta (deep meditation) and delta (dreamless sleep). These are the brain's most restorative states, where external awareness fades and the body’s natural healing mechanisms activate.

~ Physical & Energetic: Sound is not only heard; vibration can also be felt throughout the body. This physical sensation can support embodied awareness, relaxation, and a greater sense of connection between the body and the energetic experience.

Crystal Healing &
Stone Medicine

Crystals are remarkable natural structures. Their highly ordered physical properties (including piezoelectricity in materials such as quartz) make them useful in electronics, optics, sensors, timekeeping, and other technologies. Stone medicine draws on additional bodies of knowledge: spiritual traditions, metaphysical correspondences, mineral characteristics, and the practitioner’s relationship with the stone.

Crystals are also believed to influence the human electromagnetic field. Because each crystal has a fixed internal structure, it emits a steady, coherent vibration. When placed on or near the body, a crystal’s vibration is thought to gently shift the frequency of our own field, much like a quieter tuning fork will synchronize with one that is stronger and more stable.

My understanding of this process is both intuitive and deeply trained. I have studied how crystals interact with the energy body and how they can help identify and address energetic imbalances or blockages using the vibrational intelligence of stone. My collection includes many rare and unique gemstones, each of which I’ve built an intuitive relationship with over time.

My methods in stone medicine are rooted in both the metaphysical and scientific properties of stones, including crystal structure, chemical composition, hardness, and more. My training draws from the teachings of respected contemporary metaphysical healers, as well as the wisdom of ancient and living stone medicine traditions: the Egyptian Mystery Schools, Andean Mysticism, North American Indigenous wisdom, and most notably, the Daoist tradition of stone medicine. This lineage includes study in Chinese cosmology, five-element theory, and foundational knowledge of acupuncture points and meridians, supporting a holistic understanding of how stones interact with the human system.

Reiki Energy Healing

The word Reiki translates to “life force energy.” This universal energy nourishes, balances, and supports natural healing. The system of Reiki was developed in Japan in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui, who synthesized spiritual practices, meditation, and hands-on energy healing into a method that could be shared and taught. The Usui lineage continues today in many forms, all rooted in the principle that this life force energy flows through all living things.

On a simple level, Reiki practitioners channel or gather this energy, send it through their hearts, and out through their hands to the client.

Reiki is a heart-centered practice. Practitioners maintain a state of love and compassion — intentions that have been shown to influence the organization and beauty of water crystals (see the research of Dr. Masaru Emoto). Additionally, measurable electromagnetic frequencies have been recorded coming from the hands of energy practitioners during healing sessions. Research by Dr. John Zimmerman (University of Colorado) using SQUID magnetometers found that these frequencies fall within the 0.3–30 Hz range, which coincides with those used by medical devices to support tissue repair and stimulate bone growth. This work was later expanded upon by Dr. Beverly Rubik, who helped establish the concept of the human biofield as a medically relevant phenomenon.

There is a growing body of scientific research demonstrating Reiki’s effectiveness. So much so that Reiki is now being practiced in hospitals around the world as a meaningful way to improve patient care and outcomes.

I am both a Reiki Master Teacher and a Crystal Reiki Master Teacher, which means I have been attuned and trained to share Reiki with others — and to pass on this knowledge through teaching and attunement. Both forms use universal life force energy channeled through the hands, and both work with sacred symbols to direct the energy with specific intention. Crystal Reiki adds another layer, using the natural intelligence of crystals in combination with Reiki energy and symbols to support deeper energetic alignment.

Bringing It All Together: Sound ~ Crystal ~ Reiki

I layer all three of these healing techniques—sound and vibration therapy, stone medicine, and Reiki—in my healing facilitation sessions. While you relax in a meditative state, bathed in healing sound and vibration, I place crystals on your fully clothed body and channel Reiki to support your energy system.

You and I can work together in person at Meditation Bar, or you can receive a distance healing session from the comfort of your own home. Read more about distance healing sessions here.
