Our culture trains our brains to crave constant stimulation, and the current state of the world often fuels anxiety and rumination. Yet meditation remains one of the most profound ways to calm the mind, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with your center.
I have more than 26 years of experience teaching adults, including serving as an award-winning former teacher at Rice University—an experience that deeply shaped my approach to guiding others with clarity, curiosity, and care. I’ve been leading meditation and inner inquiry sessions since 2014, joined the Meditation Bar team in 2018, and became its owner in 2019, fully immersing myself in the study and sharing of the meditative arts.
Private meditation sessions offer a customized experience—unique to you, your goals, your needs, and your experience level. Whether you’re new to meditation, returning after a break, or ready to take your practice deeper, these sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll explore grounded, flexible techniques that actually work for your body, your energy, and your life. No pressure. No perfection.
